How much walking would these people have been doing over the course of the study?
My father is always worried about the state of his mental fitness, fearing dementia might be looming whenever he forgets a name, phone number or shopping list item. Sounds like this would be just the kind of “regime” that he might enjoy doing to abate those fears, and reap the benefits too.
